Lecture on Search Engine Optimization at NyföretagarCentrum Norrköping

Our partner NyföretagarCentrum in Norrköping invited us to give a lecture at Coffice and we quickly felt that we wanted to talk about search engine optimization.

Google and other search engines are opening up new opportunities for businesses to be seen and reach customers wanting to buy products and services. But how do search engines work and how do they decide who gets the highest visibility or no visibility at all? This is an area where knowledge is not very high among the general public and where many opportunities are missed.

We called the lecture “Search Engine Optimization for Everyone” and focused on what small business owners can do to compete with big business. And believe it or not, there’s a lot you can do all by yourself and usually for free. With the right understanding of what search engines really are, why they exist and how they work, anyone can get top rankings in search results and reach potential customers.

We were told afterwards that the lecture broke attendance records for similar events. It is of course very gratifying to hear this and also rewarding to be involved in helping talented entrepreneurs to be more successful with their online presence.
